DAY THREE
today was not fun at all. I'm really suffering from jet lag. its totally killing me right now. Most of the afternoon was spent watching my step mom and Nicolle decide what to do, for it was Nicolle's birthday. We went from visiting Anne's land to state parks. I wanted to go para sailing, or take a ferry to this island off the coast that is part of France. All ideas where rejected.
We ended up going to the mall in the main city. If you ever been to the mall closest to WSU, you have an idea of what this mall was like, except Canadian. There where no good clothing stores unless you wanted to start dressing like an 80's slut. I did find a good sale at La Senza which is owned by Victoria's Secret. super scandalist. My brother ended up purchasing Rock Band. I have a feeling it will be the reason why we don't kill ourselves out of boredom.
Then we went to a nice little Italian restaurant. Me and my brother took toothpicks and sharpened them into spears and blew them out of our straws to go threw a paper target. Then spent the evening playing rock band. I must say. today was not a fun day. oh well..... 12 more days left here.

DAY TWO
today was a little more interesting. you know, i did the normal summer morning thing, sleep in late (well until noon here which is 8 c-town time which isn't sleeping in for me, that's the time i usually wake up) quite time, reading, getting ready, when i realized I really wanted to see the ocean.
I am already in my clothes for the day, so I take my socks off and grab my flip flops because tennis shoes at the beach is just a silly idea. I start going there and I hear my dad laughing, and he said good luck. I get about 45 seconds away when my sister comes running to me with a mosquito net and told me i will need this when I'm by the lagoon. I'm like yeah trick. just go away, you re 13.
When I get to the lagoon, bugs swarm me, so I started running. I get to this huge puddle of mud, and both of my flip flops break. thank goodness they are the cheap kind that I wasn't attached to. so I through the net on my head and run home. my dad was laughing again, and offered me smoked chicken, but I declined, I refuse to loose to something as lame as a mosquito. So i change into my sport shorts, drench myself with deet, and run barefoot to the ocean. this time it worked. I was having a jolly time, taking pictures. the air here is less disgusting smelling than the Puget sound. and the water is pretty clear.
As I was going back I started talking to a local. I lost her when I started to speak because I guess I do sound ghetto when I talk. and you guys say I sound Canadian. she said I will get bored, but will is future. I currently am bored.
Finally heading home, I saw the van, and my family joined me on the beach. The tide was low so we played on the rocks and tide pools. I have some fun pictures from that too, but they will be up later, because I cannot find a USB cord.
After that we went home, and rested for the events of tonight. We went into the biggest town here (its not big. like maybe the size of Aberdeen but a little smaller) there they had a carnival and what not. it kind of reminded me of things that an elementary school will put on for field days. but whatever. The firework display was nice, i have to admit, but the ground around was covered in tampon shells, and the lady in front of me i could tell was making fun of me. I kind of stick out here, everyone is sun burnt with blond or red hair, humble attire for clothes and sounds Canadian. Here i am with tan olive skin, brownish hair, A&F clothes, yeah. I stuck out.
PS. for the record, I saw a total of 6 black people today and 13 Asians.

DAY ONE
Wow. Long day today. So you know how you have to be 2 hours early for international flights? well mine left at 6 am. i had to be there at four. I totally had a good nights rest let me tell you.
Me and my brother thought it would be fun to wear business clothes, which was fun. We met this nice lady from Holland who told us her life story. The boarding man was this super cool black man who reminded me not to dance on the plane. like i said, he was cool.
We got onto the flight, and conversed, and arrived in Vancouver. It was only a short flight, 35 minutes long. I swear, i was the only white person besides my brother in that airport. We sat around, went and checked email, ate a bit, and a couple of hours later boarded onto the plane to Toronto, of coarse after changing into more comfortable clothes because my heels where starting to bother me. The lady sitting next to me kept on looking at me funny because I was reading "the Mormon bible." but i think anyone would of done the same thing. I slept most of this flight because it is tiring waking up so early.
So in Toronto me and my brother had about 2.5 hours to kill. I suggested going into town, but instead we just wandered aimlessly around the airport, took the train from one side of the airport and back, ate some food, you know, your average stalling stuff.
I really enjoyed being in Toronto, the atmosphere is so American. It was great. but finally the time to go to PEI came.
I slept through most of this flight as well but the most memorable part of my journey was watching the sun set. If you know me super well, you know I love stars and space type stuff. The sun was setting, and it was seriously a rainbow, red on the horizon, and then the purple of the night sky. out of the west Jupiter or Saturn was rising. SO BEAUTIFUL. It kind of made me sad about what i was missing out on, on the west coast, where everybody is.
Now on PEI, it smells... clean? I don't know. there are no noises, lights, people. It is so white, I'm scared. I'm going to be the ghetto girl from the big city. I realized how much i really do love diversity. but besides that lets talk about the airport, and how it can fit into renton stadium. Yes, that's the provinces airport for you.
and where am i sleeping??? In a tent, in the living room, on an air mattress...
NO MALLS NO RECEPTION NO FRIENDS NO CAR NO CIVILIZATION
i swear, this is worse than scout camp.
I'm just going to have to make the best of things, maybe work on my tan. if theres sun here.
